Build WordPress Website -- 2

I need a complete WordPress site set-up from the ground up. I’ll supply hosting and domain access; you turn it into a fast, secure, mobile-friendly site that’s easy for me to manage afterward.

Because the site’s purpose and exact features are still open, advise me on the best route—whether that ends up being a blog, small e-commerce catalog, portfolio, or a blend. I’m happy to choose a premium theme you recommend or go fully custom if that makes more sense for branding and performance.

Key deliverables
• Install and configure the latest WordPress core on my server
• Propose and implement a modern, responsive design (theme or custom)
• Build up to five initial pages with placeholder content so I can see the flow
• Configure essential plugins for SEO, caching, security, and backups
• Set up any agreed interactive elements such as contact forms, newsletter sign-up, or user logins
• Hand-over documentation or brief screen-share showing me how to add posts, edit pages, and update plugins safely

Acceptance criteria
• Pages load in under three seconds on desktop and mobile (Google PageSpeed 80+ score)
• Layout displays correctly on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, plus iOS and Android browsers
• Admin area is free of PHP errors or warnings
• Site passes a malware scan and uses SSL throughout

Timelines are flexible within reason, but an initial live draft in one week would be ideal so we can iterate.
