Award Show Nominee Reels Editor
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We’re putting together a set of short nominee video showreels for an upcoming award show, and we’re looking for a skilled freelance Audio & Video Post-Production Editor to help clean and balance the sound across each clip.
These videos are edited using a mix of voiceovers and footage sourced online. We’re looking for someone who can enhance audio clarity, fix clipping/distortion issues, and ensure everything sounds smooth, consistent, and professional.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with our video editors to finalise short nominee reels
Cleaning and improving audio from various sources (voiceovers, music, internet clips)
Fixing clipping, uneven volume, and background noise
Balancing voiceover and video audio to ensure smooth transitions
Delivering each reel with consistent, clean audio ready for presentation
Working to tight deadlines. Knowing that we have a specific date of the award shows and specific date we need delivery of the video.
Ideal skills:
Strong experience in audio post-production and sound mixing
Good ear for balancing and fixing audio issues
Proficient with software like Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Reliable, organised, and able to meet quick deadlines
Bonus (not required):
Experience working on video content for events, social media, or promos
Ability to give input on improving the audio flow of each reel
This is a freelance, project-based role with immediate start.
There may be potential for future projects depending on the quality of work and delivery.
