Android Testing & Play Store Updates

Job ID: 40501358

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

I’m getting ready to release a fresh Android build that adds single-sign-on and other networking changes, and I need a meticulous tester to shake it down on real smartphones before it goes live in Google Play.

What you’ll be working with
• The app now authenticates through Microsoft Entra ID; parts of the flow also touch Azure and Office 365, so I need each of those sign-in paths verified.
• Back-end calls run through AWS and an SAP endpoint, all protected by the same SSO mechanism.
• Issue tracking sits in Atlassian Jira, and every finding has to be documented there against the new version tag.
• When tests are green, the build must be uploaded to my Play Developer account with release notes that reflect your results.

Core tasks
1. Install the supplied APK on a representative spread of Android smartphone models and OS versions.
2. Run through the full user journey—first-launch, Entra ID login, data sync with AWS/SAP, and any offline scenarios.
3. Capture logs, screenshots, or screen recordings for every defect; file each ticket in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
4. Retest fixes as they arrive, closing tickets only when the issue is genuinely resolved.
5. Prepare a short final report summarising coverage, open items, and overall readiness, then assist me in pushing the approved build and notes to Google Play.

Deliverables
• Jira tickets for every verified defect
• A consolidated test report (PDF or DOCX)
• Signed-off Play Store release uploaded in my developer console

All testing is on smartphones for now; if tablets or wearables become relevant, we can grow the scope later. If you’re comfortable diving into Entra ID login flows, AWS endpoints, and you have a good eye for detail, let’s get this build production-ready.
