AR Filter Development Teletubbies TikTok & Instagram Campaign

Project Summary:

High Street Safari is launching an exciting, large-scale "Tubby Custard Treasure Hunt" event in partnership with the iconic global brand, the Teletubbies. A key component of our digital strategy is a "Which Teletubby are you?" quiz that directs users to a dynamic AR filter to take a "Tubby-Selfie."

We are seeking a talented and experienced AR developer to create a set of 8 high-quality, shareable filters (4 characters, 2 platforms each) that will be the fun payoff for our quiz and drive our social media campaign.

Scope of Work:

The freelancer will be responsible for developing a total of 8 dynamic AR filters based on the four main Teletubby characters.

Platforms:

Instagram (using Spark AR Studio)

TikTok (using Effect House)

Characters (4 sets of filters):

Tinky Winky (Purple)

Dipsy (Green)

Laa-Laa (Yellow)

Po (Red)

Filter Requirements (for each character):

3D Head Asset: Each filter must include the character's unique antenna as a 3D model attached to the user's head (e.g., Tinky Winky's triangle, Dipsy's "dipstick," etc.).

Face Effect: A subtle, flattering face effect that gives the user a soft, rounded face shape reminiscent of a Teletubby.

Colour Overlay: A gentle colour wash corresponding to the character's colour (purple, green, yellow, red).

Branding: A small, non-intrusive text overlay in a corner that says "#TubbySelfie" to encourage hashtag use.

Deliverables:

4x Instagram Filter files (.arexport), fully tested and ready for upload to Spark AR Hub.

4x TikTok Effect files, fully tested and ready for upload to Effect House.

A short document containing the test links for all 8 filters for final approval.

Brief technical support during the upload process if any platform-specific issues arise.

Applicant Requirements:

Proven experience developing engaging AR filters for both Instagram and TikTok.

A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, published work on both Spark AR Studio and Effect House.

Ability to create or work with simple 3D models for the head assets.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to a deadline.

A creative eye and an understanding of what makes a filter fun, flattering, and shareable for a Gen-Z audience.
