Custom Banuba AR Printful App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m building a cross-platform mobile app (iOS and Android) that lets users snap photos with Banuba-powered effects, choose their favorite shots, and instantly push them to Printful to generate personalized merchandise.
Core flow
• The camera launches with Banuba SDK already tracking the face or scene and automatically applying effects—no manual toggling.
• Supported effect types must include:
– Face filters
– Background effects
– Object overlays
• After capture, the image pipeline applies additional filters or segmentation before the file is queued for upload.
• Selected images are sent to Printful through their REST API, creating the product variant and returning the mock-up URL for confirmation.
• All tokens, keys, and user media are handled with best-practice security.
Deliverables
1. Production-ready iOS and Android builds plus full source code.
2. Banuba effect bundles (face, background, object) integrated and documented.
3. Clean, well-commented module for Printful API calls (product creation, order submission, webhooks).
4. README explaining environment setup, effect management, and API credentials.
5. Short screen-capture demo proving capture → effect → Printful flow on both platforms.
Acceptance criteria
• Automatic effect detection is latency-free and stable on mid-range devices.
• Uploaded images arrive in my Printful dashboard with the correct product templates.
• No sensitive data is hard-coded; config must load from secure storage or env files.
• App passes App Store & Play Store privacy checks.
I’d like to see portfolio links to any AR + e-commerce or Banuba SDK work you’ve done so I can gauge fit and reuse existing effect libraries where possible. If you’re confident with Banuba, Printful, and the usual mobile CI/CD pipeline, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
