Racing Car Oil-Flow Animation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already have the complete 3ds Max model of our racing-car engine assembly, including the filter housing, sandwich plate and lines. What I now need is a short, technically correct animation—under one minute—that clearly shows how the oil leaves the filter, travels through the sandwich plate and reaches the critical engine components. The piece is intended as an educational tutorial for customers, so moderate technical detail is essential: flow paths, temperature-based colour changes and cut-away views should all feel realistic without drifting into overly complex CFD-style visuals.
When you check the attached brief, you can see the sample animation for the oil flow through the thermostat, I need like that.
You will receive the .max file, my storyboard draft and a written brief (see attached documents). Feel free to refine camera angles or add subtle labelling, but accuracy of the oil routing and timing must stay true to the supplied references. I release the milestone only once the final render meets the brief and plays smoothly at the agreed resolution.
I prefer 3ds max 2024 or less and v-ray.
I need all of the source files before finishing the contract.
If you are good for 3ds max and after effect, this is easy work.
If you feel difficult to do rendering with 3ds max, I will do that in my side with you scene.
Deliverables
• One finished video (≤60 s) in H.264 MP4, 1920×1080
• Source scene updated with your animation keys and materials
• Preview link for review before final render
• All source file before finishing the contract
Acceptance criteria
1. Oil path clearly visible at every stage.
2. Colours, transparency and callouts match the storyboard.
3. No geometry or texture errors in close-ups.
If something in the brief is unclear, let me know early so we can keep revisions minimal and hit the target in a single pass.
