Cozy Korean-Themed Small Cafe & Library Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a talented interior designer to help create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for a small cafe and library with a Korean twist. The design should utilize a warm and earthy color palette, and incorporate a mix of wood and fabric for the furniture and fixtures.
The project is a café and library within a women's university. I need the 3D conceptual images without the need for precise planning of the installations, to be able to present it to the investment department for securing the location.
I aim for the space to be a comfortable and exceptional destination, with a focus on utilizing every corner to have something unique. The décor and facade should not be too simple like the typical Korean style but full of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and propose a Korean-themed, cozy and inviting design
- Develop a design scheme utilizing warm and earthy tones
- Source and suggest a mix of wood and fabric for furniture and fixtures
Key points in the space:
Plants and trees ?:
There are natural plants inside and outside the space.
Trees outside to provide a beautiful view for those inside, as the entire front is made of glass.
Add the famous cherry blossom tree (Sakura).
Varied book library ?
Mini fridge ?:
Stocked with Korean grocery products.
Seating areas ?:
Various cozy lighting options: Since the space is surrounded by sunlight from all glass walls, I want a significant portion of the space to have soft, dim lighting to highlight the colors of the lamps, while other areas should receive natural sunlight from the windows.
The seating options should be varied—comfortable chairs for those who want to work, read, or just relax, small sofas, and small chairs near the window to accommodate more people.
Glass facade:
The entire front of the space is glass, which presents a challenge in making the design varied and covering the glass with diverse elements.
The space is approximately 97 square meters.
