Patio Bedroom & Deck Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to turn my ground-level patio into a full-sized master bedroom suite finished in a warm, traditional look. The new room must read as original to the house, use wood as the primary structural and finish material, and include an en-suite bathroom laid out for a double vanity, shower, and toilet.
Above this new bedroom I want a flat, load-rated roof that doubles as a sun deck. I’ll need structural calculations that show the new framing safely carries typical live-load requirements for a deck, plus waterproofing details so the bedroom below stays dry.
Please deliver:
• Scaled architectural drawings (floor plan, reflected ceiling, exterior elevations)
• Framing and roof-deck structural plans in wood, ready for permit review
• Basic electrical and plumbing layouts for the en-suite bath
• 3D visuals or renderings that capture the traditional interior style and the exterior deck relationship
