I’m planning a single-story addition that will completely re-house our kitchen and dining area. The aim is a clean, modern aesthetic that flows seamlessly from the existing building into a brighter, open-plan space with great connection to the garden.
Here’s what I need from the right designer–builder partner:
• Initial concept sketches and floorplans showing layout, circulation, and glazing ideas
• Full set of planning-ready drawings (plans, elevations, sections) compliant with local regs
• 3D visuals or renders so my family can picture the finished look
• A specification outline covering materials, finishes, and any structural elements required for the larger opening into the current house
I already have rough measurements, photographs, and a basic brief ready to share. Your experience with modern single-story extensions and kitchen/dining remodels will be invaluable, especially if you’re comfortable coordinating with structural engineers and navigating UK planning portals.
