I’m ready to transform my existing country house in Mexico into a cohesive Modern Mexican retreat with rustic design, inside and out. I already have the structure; what I need is your design eye and 3-D visualisation skills to turn everyday, budget-friendly ideas into a clear plan I can hand straight to local builders and craftsmen.
Scope
The brief covers the whole property—living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, plus the outdoor spaces and garden. I want every area to feel consistently modern yet unmistakably Mexican, with warm colour schemes, authentic materials, and lighting and fixtures that complement them.
Style & Priorities
• Modern Mexican character—clean lines balanced with regional textures, colours and artisanal touches
• Well-considered colour palettes that I can source locally
• Practical lighting and fixture selections suited to rural power realities
• Real-world material and wall-finish suggestions (no ultra-luxury imports; think clay tile, polished cement, local woods)
What I’ll supply
Current photos, rough sketches, measurements, and any architectural files I have. I’m available on video calls to walk you through the house virtually so you can grasp proportions and sun paths.
What I need back
• Mood board(s) that pin down the Modern Mexican look and colour story
• 3-D renders or walkthroughs for each interior zone and the garden, showing daytime and evening lighting
• Annotated material & finish schedule specifying locally obtainable options
• Basic furniture/fixture placement plans
• A concise step-by-step action sheet so I know what to tackle first and what can wait
File formats can be SketchUp, Revit, or any mainstream 3-D format plus high-resolution JPEG/PNG for easy sharing. If you use Lumion, V-Ray, or similar for the renders, even better.
