3D Model Plush Keychain Design

Project Goal:

Create a production-ready 3D model of a plush keychain figure based on existing 2D concept images (Midjourney renderings). The model will be used for plush toy manufacturing and must include a functional inner pocket for an AirTag.

Scope of Work:

Translate a stylized 2D illustration (provided by us) into a full 3D model suitable for prototyping and plush production. The model should include:

Accurate body proportions and overall shape
Stylized soft toy detailing (fur-like texture, no sharp/hard surfaces)
Clearly defined positions of ears, arms, feet, and seams
Incorporate the following functional features:
Designed as a plush keychain (small, cute, high-quality)
Discreet inner compartment to hold an AirTag
(approx. 33 × 33 × 9 mm in size)
Ideally located in the back or belly
Secured via Velcro or small zipper
Should not be visible externally

Deliverables:

Editable 3D file (e.g. .obj, .fbx, .blend, or similar)
Separate layer or marking for the AirTag compartment
Optional: simple turnarounds or mockups to visualize the concept

We will provide:

1 Midjourney images (front reference of the character)
Description or sketch of where the AirTag compartment should be
Technical specs of the AirTag
Optional: style reference for the whole plush figure collection (shared later)

Requirements:

Proven experience in 3D character or toy design
Ideally familiar with soft toy production or plush prototyping
Ability to design cute but not overly childish characters (kawaii-inspired style)
Attention to construction details (seams, fabric logic, softness)
Good communication in English
Willingness to do one revision round if needed

Timeline:

Start: ASAP
Goal: First character delivered within 10–21 days
Follow-up work likely (full character collection) if successful
