Mid-Poly 3ds Max Character Animation

Job ID: 40261634

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I am producing a short sequence that requires clean, believable character animation created directly in 3ds Max. The models should sit comfortably in the “mid-poly” range—enough geometry for expressive movement and clean silhouettes, but still light enough for real-time playback and fast render iterations.

Scope of work
• Take my supplied base mesh or create one of similar topology, rig it for full-body movement, and animate the actions on a 30-second timeline.
• Keyframe the motion in 3ds Max; no motion-capture data this round.
• Ensure weight painting is solid so elbows, knees, and shoulders deform naturally. Facial animation is not required, but subtle head turns and eye-direction would be appreciated if time allows.

Deliverables
1. .max file with non-collapsed rig and keyed animation.
2. An FBX export with baked animation for engine tests.
3. Playblast or viewport capture (MP4) so I can review quickly before final hand-off.

Acceptance criteria
• Mid-poly model (roughly 25-40 k tris) cleanly rigged.
• No frame drops or penetration issues during the full 30-second shot.
• All materials and textures packed in a single folder ready for relink.

If you enjoy crafting lively character performances inside 3ds Max and can work within these specs, I look forward to seeing how you’d bring this piece to life.
