I need a high-resolution 3D scan of an entire shipboard pipeline so I can carry out a thorough damage assessment. Every run, elbow, flange, valve, and connection from bow to stern must be captured with sufficient fidelity to let me zoom in and measure hairline corrosion or deformation afterwards.

Accuracy and detail: sub-millimetre precision (±1 mm or better) is essential. Please deploy whichever method suits—laser/LiDAR, structured light, photogrammetry—so long as the raw point cloud is dense enough to generate a clean mesh and highlight surface defects. The final files have to open flawlessly in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, or CloudCompare.
