The Migration almost pretty/ Free work for hobbyists

I’m developing an original 3-D cartoon that lives in a fully imagined fantasy world and stars a roster of whimsical, never-before-seen creatures. The visual direction leans toward a playful, cartoonish aesthetic rather than strict realism, so squash-and-stretch, exaggerated facial rigs, and vibrant, stylised environments are all on the table.

This is a passion project, created for the joy of storytelling and to give every artist involved a platform to showcase their best work. No money changes hands, but every contributor will receive full screen credit, unrestricted permission to feature their shots on personal reels, and genuine creative freedom: if you have an idea that improves a scene, I’m eager to hear it.

I have the story, voice tracks, and rough storyboard locked. What I need now is an animator (or a small team) comfortable with the entire 3-D pipeline—modelling, rigging, animation, lighting, and final render. Blender, Maya, Houdini, or any tool you love is fine as long as the final frames arrive in 24 fps PNG or EXR sequences.

Key deliverables:
• Rough animation pass for a 90-second pilot scene
• Clean, polished animation with basic lighting and textures
• Final render ready for editing (PNG/EXR sequence)
