Blender Mech Rig & Animations
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a game-ready mech model that now needs an intermediate-level rig in Blender with solid IK chains. I have setup bones for the left side of the mesh, but have less experience with weighting and rigging.
Once the rig is in place, I need two seamless animation loops:
• Walk cycle
• Run cycle
Both should feel like the lumbering yet responsive movement you see in MechWarrior Online or MW5—mechanical weight, clear foot-plant, and believable inertia, ready for real-time use.
Example: https://youtu.be/1j_uB8HEq8c
Acceptance checklist
• Basic IK setup for Legs
• Logical naming conventions and grouped controls
• Clean deformation with no obvious mesh clipping during the two cycles
• Looping walk and run at 30 fps
• All work delivered as separate .blend files Rig, WalkCycle, RunCycle.
I’ll handle export to my engine once I have your Blender file, so no need for additional formats.
