Versatile 3D Character Designs

Job ID: 39784139

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m building a line of 3D-printed figures that will serve several purposes—collectibles, prototypes, even board-game pieces—so every model has to look great on a shelf and still hold up to hands-on use. I need a designer who’s equally comfortable producing cartoon, realistic, and full-on fantasy characters, then sculpting them so they print cleanly on consumer-grade resin or FDM machines.

We’ll start with three trial sculpts (one in each style) to lock down proportions, pose, and print strategy. Once those are approved, I expect to order additional waves in the same formats.

Deliverables
• Watertight STL and/or OBJ files for each character, scaled for both 1/10 and 1/32 output
• A screenshot or brief note confirming overhang angles and support strategy (no baked-in auto supports)
• Simple colour turnarounds or clay renders for visual reference

All geometry must be non-manifold-free, with no intersecting shells, so the files slice without errors in Cura, Lychee, or similar tools. I’m tool-agnostic—Blender, ZBrush, Maya, Fusion 360 are all fine—as long as the final assets meet the criteria above.

When you reply, please include samples that highlight your range across cartoon, realistic, and fantasy sculpts, especially anything you’ve already taken through a 3D-printing workflow. I’m excited to see your work and start bringing these characters to life.
