Ultrasound MVL-to-STL Conversion

Job ID: 40174550

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have an ultrasound-derived MVL file that I need turned into an STL that is clean, watertight, and print-ready.

The goal is to create a high-detail prototype, so every anatomical nuance captured in the scan must survive the conversion process.

You’ll receive the original MVL and any associated reference images. There seems to be some special software required to open these files.

Deliverables
• One high-resolution STL file ready for 3D printing
• A brief note on the tools and settings you used (e.g., 3D Slicer, MeshLab, Blender, Mimics) so I can replicate the workflow if needed

Acceptance criteria
• No non-manifold edges, flipped normals, or intersecting faces
• Detail level matches or exceeds the original MVL preview
• File loads without repair prompts in Cura and Netfabb validation shows zero critical errors

Let me know if you need any additional metadata from the ultrasound capture to complete the conversion.
