Split STL Figure Puzzle Joints

Job ID: 40446664

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have a single-piece STL of a character figure that needs to be turned into a set of printable parts which simply slide together like a puzzle. The idea is to add matching cube-shaped joints—male on one side, female on the mating part—so the assembled model holds firmly for functional, articulated use rather than just display.

What I will send you
• The current STL file of the complete figure
• Notes on rough cut lines I have in mind (if helpful)

What I need back
• Cleanly separated parts with well-aligned cube joints already booleaned in
• Individual STL files for each piece, ready for export to a slicer
• A quick reference image or screenshot showing where every joint is placed

Acceptance criteria
• All joints fit within the existing model volume; no external bulges
• Cubes are oriented so printing them requires minimal or no support on an FDM printer
• Parts assemble flush without gaps when tolerance is set to 0.2 mm

If you normally work in Blender, Fusion 360, ZBrush, or similar, that’s perfect—use whatever lets you control tolerances precisely. Turnaround is flexible for quality work, but sooner is better so I can move on to test-printing. Let me know any questions and how you’d approach adding those positive/negative cube joints.
