SolidWorks Prototype Engineer On-Site
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need an experienced mechanical engineer who can take my product concepts from sketch to fully printed prototype right here at our Okhla campus. Your core responsibilities will be two-fold: first, create precise SolidWorks models of the prototypes with all the intricate internal and external features called out; second, handle the complete 3 D-printing workflow, from slicing to machine setup and post-processing, so we can evaluate form, fit, and basic function in real time.
Because rapid iteration is critical, you’ll be working alongside me on site. Expect to review requirements, translate them into detailed CAD, tweak tolerances together, and then immediately move the files to our FDM/SLA printers for physical validation. When issues arise—warping, layer adhesion, dimensional drift—I’ll count on you to diagnose and correct them on the spot.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks files and neutral formats (STEP, IGES) for each prototype iteration
• Optimised, print-ready STL files
• At least one successfully printed, dimensionally accurate part per iteration
• A brief log of print parameters and any troubleshooting steps taken
If you’re comfortable commuting to Okhla, confident in SolidWorks surfacing and assemblies, and hands-on with desktop 3 D printers, let’s get started.
