SketchUp Building Model Print-Ready
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a complete building model in SketchUp (.skp) but it will not pass the usual manifold checks for 3D printing. I need you to take that file, analyse it, and carry out whatever geometric fixes are required so I can send the part straight to my PLA printer. Basic surface detail is enough—no need to preserve tiny ornaments as long as the overall proportions stay true.
Right now the model is way too complex to print. It is made of many grouped assets that all need to be exploded and simplified. I do not want any thickness to the walls, as I would like to print as one solid piece. Please preserve basic elements, details are not important.
Deliverables:
• Cleaned-up SketchUp file (SKP)
• Exported STL ready for slicing with PLA settings
I use SketchUp Pro and Solid Inspector. Once I confirm the file prints smoothly, the project is done.
