Separate Car STL Into Parts

Job ID: 40425557

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

I already have a single-piece car body in STL format and I need it re-worked for easier printing and post-processing. The job is to cut the model so the hood, both doors and the roof become individual, watertight pieces that can be printed separately and then re-assembled cleanly. While you are in there, I’ll give you a short list of small shape tweaks e.g. clear a few details, shorten the bumper and remove the ac-unit from the roof.

Please keep the scale, wall thickness and overall dimensions intact, make sure every part remains manifold and free of non-printable artifacts, and add basic alignment aids if you think they will help (simple pins or keyed tabs are fine). I don’t mind which software you use—Blender, Fusion 360, Meshmixer or your preferred mesh editor—as long as the final files open error-free and slice correctly in Cura/PrusaSlicer.

Deliverables:
• Individual STL files for hood, doors, roof and remaining body.
• A master file in your native format so I can re-edit later if needed.
• Quick change log so I know exactly what you adjusted.

I’m looking for someone who is comfortable modifying organic car surfaces and checking their work with a printability validator. Let me know if anything is unclear and how soon you can turn this around.
