3D Bust Scan Cleanup for Printing
Budget: €10 – €20 EUR
I’ve captured OBJ scan of a person. It is just a thin shell with the entire back and bottom open. I need a 3D artist to turn this scan into a print-ready model with moderate, life-like detail.
Technical Requirements:
Cleanup: Remove all floating geometry, background artifacts, and scan noise.
Watertight Geometry: The model must be made 100% manifold (watertight).
Hollow with 3mm Walls: The final model must be hollowed out with a consistent 3mm wall thickness.
Base: Close the back but let the bottom open.
Likeness: Preserve the person's features while smoothing out the rough "bumpy" texture typical of phone scans.
Deliverables
1. Clean, repaired STL (or OBJ) at 8cm height.
2. A quick screenshot or turntable showing before-and-after comparison so I can verify the improvements.
