1/48 Scale Madrid 1936 Wargame Model
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Siege of Madrid 1936 model of part of university campus for use in wargame. 42mm or 20mm figures
I'm looking for a 1/48 or 1/76 scale model of the University of Madrid as it appeared in 1936.
The model will be only of part of the campus, the west side.
The model will be used as a functional piece in wargames, so it should be sturdy and well-constructed.
Requirements:
- Basic level of detail is sufficient, needs roofs but they can be integral to the model and am happy to paint myself
- The model should be suitable for use in wargaming, meaning it should be durable and able to withstand regular handling.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in scale model building
- Knowledge of historical accuracy for 1936 Madrid
- Ability to work with plastic, wood, or resin
I'm open to suggestions on materials and techniques. Please provide samples of previous work.
