HO-Scale Dealey Plaza 3D Models
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building an HO-scale replica of Dealey Plaza and would like every visible feature—the buildings, monuments, and even the landscaping—to look exactly as they do in real life. I have site plans, historic photographs, and several architectural blueprints ready to share. What I now need is a specialist who can translate those references into highly detailed, print-ready 3D files.
Scope of work
• Study the supplied drawings and photos to capture correct dimensions, façade details, terrain levels, and streetscape features.
• Create watertight 3D models for all buildings, monuments, retaining walls, grass berms, sidewalks, and roadways within the plaza footprint.
• Optimise each part for HO scale FDM or resin printing (STL or OBJ), separating large structures into logical, easily assembled sections with keyed joints where needed.
• Provide clean renders so I can verify accuracy before printing and suggest any tweaks.
Preferred toolchain is up to you—Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, SketchUp, or equivalent—as long as the exported geometry remains dimensionally correct. Please let me know which program you plan to use.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every structure matches the provided blueprints within ±0.25 mm at HO scale.
2. All files slice without errors in Cura or PrusaSlicer.
3. Final delivery includes an organised folder of STLs/OBJs, assembly notes, and a brief change log for any revisions made.
If this type of meticulous, historically accurate modeling excites you, I’d love to see samples of comparable work and discuss the next steps.
