STL Modifications for Snap-Fit Grips
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Simple STL modification – add snap-fit grips (small job)
Message:
Hi,
I’m looking for someone to make a small modification to an existing STL file. This is a very simple job for someone experienced with STL/mesh editing.
I will provide:
• The original STL file
• Reference photos of another part (black version)
What I need done:
1. Modify the four hook-style attachment features on my STL so they match the snap/grip style of the black reference part (same general shape/function, not exact branding).
2. Add two side grippers on each side (same idea as the black part has — small snap/retention grips for better holding).
3. No dimensional changes to the rest of the model — only these grip features.
Notes:
• This is for 3D printing in TPU (95A).
• Precision tolerance is important, but this is not a complex CAD redesign.
• Mesh editing is perfectly fine (Meshmixer, Blender, Fusion, etc.).
Budget:
• I’m hoping to keep this under $10 since it’s a small, targeted edit in less someone wants to be nice and do it for free that would be cool also if you’re experienced in modeling, it’ll be a very easy thing for you to do
If you’re comfortable with STL modifications and snap-fit features, please message me and I’ll send the STL and reference images right away.
Thank you!
