Refine Brooch STL into Organic Domes
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have an STL of a brooch that a friend kindly drafted for me, however the surface looks far too flat for what I need. I want the piece to feel sculpted, with irregular, organic domes that rise and fall rather than a single shallow curve.
You will receive the current STL plus a drawing and a dimension sheet so the remodel must follow my exact measurements—every height, diameter and clear-out area needs to line up with those references. Once the contours are corrected I also need the file checked for printability (no non-manifold edges, watertight mesh, sensible wall thickness) so I can send it straight to my jeweller’s resin printer.
Deliverables
• Revised STL (and working file, e.g. .3dm or .blend, if possible) with organic domed geometry matching my dimensions
• Screenshot or brief report confirming print-ready checks passed
If you are comfortable sculpting free-form shapes in Rhino, ZBrush, Blender or similar and can keep strict tolerances, this should be a quick, satisfying tweak. I’m ready to share the files and jump on a call to clarify the profile heights the moment you accept.
