Redesign Existing 3D Printed Collectible Display Case (Not From Scratch)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A FROM-SCRATCH DESIGN PROJECT.
I have a fully functional prototype of a 3D printed collectible display/storage case. All critical dimensions have already been established. The goal is to redesign and improve the exterior appearance while maintaining the existing functionality and internal dimensions.
I will provide:
OpenSCAD (.scad) files
STL files
Photos of the current prototype
Exact dimensions and requirements
Primary Goal
Make the box look more professional, premium, and suitable for a collectible product while keeping it optimized for FDM 3D printing.
Requirements
Interior dimensions of the bottom section are LOCKED and cannot change.
Existing insert is proprietary and will NOT be provided.
Insert dimensions and clearance requirements will be provided.
Designed for PLA printing.
Designed for Bambu Lab printers.
No supports required.
Lid and bottom should continue to print flat, face down on the build plate.
OpenSCAD experience preferred.
Features I'd Like Added
Improved exterior styling.
Premium collectible case appearance.
Stackable design (boxes should securely stack).
Serial number area on the inside lid (easy to edit before printing).
Optional logo area on top lid.
Hinges & Latches
Current hinges and latches work. They may be improved or redesigned if a better FDM-printable solution exists.
