Printable Denim Pencil Holders
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I’d like two fun, functional pencil-holder models that look as though they were stitched together from real denim—but are actually easy-to-print 3D designs.
Design 1 should feel like a pair of classic denim jeans: belt loops, seams, and at least one pocket are the visual anchors, while the top remains open to drop in pens and brushes.
Design 2 reimagines a denim bomber jacket thrown over a visible T-shirt; here too, a pocket detail is the star. Both need to hit roughly 120 mm × 100 mm overall, keep sensible wall thickness for FDM, and arrive as clean, watertight solids that slice without repair.
I’m printing on a standard FDM machine, so sharp overhangs or paper-thin details should be avoided. If you sculpt in Blender, Fusion 360, or similar, please include the source file along with the final 3MF so I can tweak scale later if needed.
Deliverables
• 3MF for the jeans-inspired holder
• 3MF for the bomber-jacket holder
• Native source files (if possible)
Acceptance check: both files must import into PrusaSlicer error-free, report manifold geometry, and preview at the stated dimensions. Looking forward to seeing your creative take on denim!
