Plastic Prototype From CAD Drawings

Job ID: 40359473

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

I already have a full set of CAD drawings with exact dimensions; what I now need is a single, low-cost plastic prototype produced directly from those files. The part includes interlocking sections, so I’m counting on your experience with tolerance control and snap-fit design to be sure everything mates cleanly once printed.

Here’s the flow I’m picturing:
• I send the native CAD files (STEP and IGES) plus a brief note on the intended use.
• You run a quick design-for-manufacture check, adjust clearances if necessary, and confirm back with a final STL.
• Once approved, you print in a standard durable plastic—PLA or PETG is fine—and ship one finished piece to me.

Acceptance criteria
• Printed prototype matches my supplied dimensions within 0.2 mm.
• Interlocking parts engage smoothly by hand without tools.
• Surface finish good enough for functional testing (no major stringing or warping).

When you reply, highlight similar plastic prototypes you’ve produced before, especially where interlocking elements were involved, and let me know your estimated turnaround time including shipping.
