Job ID: 40479277

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

3D Character Modeling for NFC Collectible Figurines

Important:
The maximum budget for this project is €200 total. If your rate is above this budget, please do not bid. I prefer transparent proposals from the start to avoid wasting anyone's time.

Project Overview

I am developing a premium educational audio box for children inspired by storytelling, cultural discovery, and language learning.

The product works with NFC-enabled collectible figurines placed on top of the audio box.

The visual design of the characters has already been completed.

I am now looking for an experienced 3D character designer to transform the approved character concepts into manufacturing-ready 3D figurines.

Scope of Work

Create professional 3D models for 3 collectible figurines:

Desert Fennec Explorer (2–4 years)
Desert Fennec Explorer (4–7 years)
Young Dromedary Companion (0–2 years)

The visual concepts will be provided.

The goal is NOT to redesign the characters.

The goal is to faithfully recreate the approved concepts as physical figurines suitable for prototyping and future production.

Requirements

The figurines must:

Preserve the original character design and proportions.
Be optimized for 3D printing.
Be suitable for future injection molding.
Have stable bases and proper weight distribution.
Include an internal cavity or dedicated space for NFC integration.
Be designed with child safety in mind.
Avoid fragile elements and unsupported thin parts.
Be production-oriented rather than purely artistic.
Deliverables

For each figurine:

High-quality 3D model
STL files
STEP files (if applicable)
OBJ files
Source files
Rendered preview images
Production-oriented geometry
NFC-ready base design

Experience Required

NFC Requirement:
Please create the figurines with a removable base section so NFC dimensions and magnetic components can be adjusted later if needed.

Preferred workflow: ZBrush and/or Blender for character modeling, with production-ready files suitable for 3D printing and future manufacturing.

Please apply only if you have experience with:

Toy design
Collectible figurines
Character modeling
Manufacturing-ready 3D design
3D printing workflows
Injection molding considerations

The designer may use any software (ZBrush, Blender, etc.), but must provide production-ready STL/OBJ files and editable source files suitable for 3D printing and future manufacturing.

Portfolio examples of physical toys or collectible figurines are highly appreciated.

Important
This is a product development project.I am looking for someone who understands the difference between:

concept art
and
production-ready 3D models.

Please include examples of previous figurines, toys, collectibles, or character products you have modeled.

All intellectual property, source files, 3D models, and project deliverables will become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment.

Future collaboration possible for additional characters and product development phases.

Thank you.
