Large Crankbait Design
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I’m looking for a G code file of a large (4–6 inch) already designed lure that I can print on my own Snapmaker 3D printer. The goal is a clean, functional shape—body, line-tie, and hook eyelets—without any extras right now, so please keep the geometry simple enough to stay within a basic print time and PLA material use. A .png file of the design is provided.
What I need from you:
• A watertight G code file sized precisely at 4-6 inches
• Basic weight-distribution guidance so the lure tracks true in the water
• A short note on recommended print settings (layer height, infill, material)
I’ll test-print the file myself, so a quick turnaround and willingness to tweak once for printability would be appreciated. If you’ve designed or printed crankbaits before, feel free to share examples—otherwise, a solid first draft that meets the dimensions is all I’m after. Will consider additional payment for a finish printed sample of the lure.
