Klipper Setup for Sovol FDM
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’ve just installed Klipper on my Sovol FDM printer and need a clean, reliable printer.cfg that covers the essential, day-to-day functions—nothing fancy yet. Your job is to dial in the basic motion, heating, homing, bed mesh and filament control so I can start printing again with confidence.
Here’s what I already have in place:
• Stock Sovol mainboard with factory stepper drivers and sensors
• Ebb36, flowtech hotend, eddy probe, Xenomorph toolhead on printables
What I’m looking for from you:
**I dont mind a chatbot assisting, but please for the love of God, dont have one try to make the config files**
1. A tailored printer.cfg (plus any necessary macro files) that will get me printing reliably.
2. Notes on any changes you make to settings so I can learn what im missing.
3. Quick verification that movement, temperature control, probing/leveling and first-layer flow behave as expected. If we can get a benchy on the bed, ill be happy.
Once the fundamentals are there, I may come back for speed tweaks, precision tuning or advanced macros, but for this milestone the deliverable is “plug in, home, heat, print.” If that sounds straightforward to you, let’s get started.
