Jose Animatronic 3D Exterior

Job ID: 39724961

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have an animatronic project in the works and need the exterior shell faithfully sculpted to match José from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. I’ll supply a folder of high-resolution reference photos taken from multiple angles, as well as a model of what it should mostly look like, so you can concentrate on translating those shapes and into a clean digital sculpt.

Scope
• Moderate detail is ideal: clear definition of beak, eyelids, and body contours without going into micro-pores or individual barbs. I will be painting it myself and adding in the eyes, fur, and feathers. The goal is a stylised yet recognisably José silhouette that can be fabricated and painted.
• Final deliverable must be a single, watertight STL ready for 3-D printing / CNC milling. Sub-tools can be merged or kept in a logical hierarchy as long as the export is trouble-free.
• Please stay mindful of typical animatronic tolerances or floating geometry that would snap during production.

Preferred workflow
I’m comfortable with ZBrush, Blender, or similar sculpting packages, so feel free to work in your favourite tool as long as the hand-off is an STL. I have an ark, or obj, depending on your preference, of the interior workings of the animatronic to model over. Throughout the process a couple of low-res screenshots or turntables will help me confirm proportions before you commit to the high-res pass.

Acceptance criteria
– Accurate likeness to the reference images provided
– Consistent wall thickness suitable for printing (minimum 2 mm)
– Single, manifold STL under 200 MB with no non-manifold edges
– Deliverable sent via shared drive or WeTransfer, along with a quick render for visual confirmation

If questions come up—especially regarding size constraints or connection points—let’s clarify early so the piece drops straight into my mechanical build.
