Hollow and Rig OBJ Prop Model

Job ID: 40051507

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I already have several OBJ prop files and now need them prepared for wearable cosplay use. Each model must be hollowed so it prints lighter and can accommodate basic mounting hardware, but I do not need a full inner support lattice—moderate detail without an interior structure is plenty.

Once the shell is finished, please add a simple but functional rig so I can articulate key parts (think doors, triggers, levers, or other moving sections) inside Blender or Maya before slicing. A clean bone hierarchy, sensible pivot points, and grouped meshes are important so I can quickly pose or separate sections for printing.

Deliverables
• Hollowed OBJ (wall thickness 2–3 mm or an equivalent printable spec we agree on)
• The same model fully rigged and saved in both .blend (preferred) and FBX formats
• A short note outlining any scale adjustments or rig controls you introduce

If you are comfortable with Blender’s Solidify modifier, ZBrush Dynamesh & Shell, or similar tools, this should be straightforward. Let me know your typical turnaround and any questions about the original geometry, and we can get started right away.
