High Detail Prototype 3D Model

Job ID: 40470125

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I need a high-detail 3D model of a new prototype that can go straight to my FDM and SLA printers without additional cleanup. Because I don’t have any sketches or reference images yet, you will be working from my written brief, rough dimensions, and iterative feedback. Precision is essential; surfaces must be watertight, tolerances printer-friendly, and the final geometry should respect overhang angles so supports remain minimal.

Here’s how I see the collaboration flowing: we discuss the concept, you share early block-outs to confirm proportions, then you refine every feature until the piece is visually polished and technically sound. I’m comfortable with industry-standard tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks—use whichever you prefer as long as the exported files meet print requirements.

Deliverables on approval:
• Final STL (plus OBJ or STEP if convenient) ready for 0.1 mm layer height printing
• A low-poly preview or turntable render so I can review details quickly
• Source file in your native software for any future tweaks

I’ll sign off once the model slices in Cura/PrusaSlicer without non-manifold errors and a single-wall test print confirms fit. Let me know your typical turnaround for first drafts and how many revision passes you include so we can schedule smoothly.
