From Picture to Print: 3D Human Models

Job ID: 39915903

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have a steady flow of 2D reference images—simple sketches, orthographic drawings, and photos—that need to become basic yet accurate 3D figurines or small sculptures. Your task is to turn each image into a watertight, print-ready model delivered in STL or OBJ format.

Scope
• Build clean, rigid-material geometry with proper wall thickness for FDM/SLA printers.
• Keep surface detail modest; the goal is a faithful but straightforward representation rather than intricate ornamentation.
• Ensure every file passes standard slicing checks (no non-manifold edges, no flipped normals).
• Provide up to one round of light tweaks after my review.

Workflow
I’ll send the first reference image as a trial. If we’re both happy, new images will follow on a regular schedule. Clear naming conventions and consistent file structure are essential so models drop straight into my print queue.

What I’m looking for
• Proven experience modeling for 3D printing—show past figurines or sculptures in your portfolio.
• Proficiency in common tools such as Blender, ZBrush, or Fusion 360.
• Ability to estimate turnaround time per model and stick to it.
• Good communication; I value quick status updates more than fancy presentations.

If you can reliably transform 2D concepts into clean, rigid, 3D-printable files and are interested in an ongoing collaboration, let’s get started with the first image.
