3D Design of Articulated "Haggadah" Character (Series 1 of 5)
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am looking for an experienced 3D designer to create a stylized character for my Etsy store. This is the first of a 5-character series.
We are starting with the "Haggadah" (a book-shaped character). The goal is to create a "Master System" for the limbs that I can reuse on future characters (e.g., a Triangle or Circle body) using Bambu Studio.
Specific Workflow Requirement (Crucial):
I use Bambu Studio. To make this modular, the STL file must be arranged so I can separate the parts as objects.
The Deliverable STL: Must contain the Main Body with legs attached (for the immediate print) AND a copy of the Leg standing separately on the side.
This allows me to print the character now, but also "Split into Objects" later to save the leg as an asset for the next model in the series.
Design Requirements:
1. Legs (Print-in-Place & Modular)
Type: Print-in-Place hinge joints.
Movement: Legs must hang perfectly vertical by gravity immediately after printing. No stiffness.
Geometry: The back of the knees and ankles must be chamfered/angled to allow for a wide backward range of motion.
Thigh Variations: I need to test leg proportions. Please provide versions (or separate leg assets) with thigh lengths of 22mm, 24mm, and 26mm.
2. Arms (Snap-Fit "Dummy 13" Style)
Mechanism: Separate snap-in pieces. Use a ball-and-socket or friction-peg joint (similar to the "Dummy 13" printable figure).
Hand Design: A "LEGO minifigure" style C-clamp hand.
Functional Constraint: The grip of the hand must be perfectly dimensioned to hold a standard toothpick stick tightly.
3. Face (Inserts)
Eyes and mouth must be designed as separate "insert" pieces (loose parts in the STL) so they can be printed in a different color and pressed into the body.
Deliverables:
I require high-quality STL files organized as follows:
Main System STL:
Includes the "Haggadah" Body with Legs attached (Print-in-Place).
Includes a duplicate "Leg" floating on the side (so I can use it as an asset).
Includes the Arms and Face Inserts laid out on the side.
Thigh Variation STLs:
Leg assets (or full bodies) with the 22mm, 24mm, and 26mm thigh lengths.
Ideal Candidate:
Expert in FDM Design (Bambu Lab / Ender 3).
Understands "Object-Based" workflows in slicers (keeping meshes separate within a single file).
Please mention "Bambu" in your proposal so I know you use the same software environment.
Condition of payment: Freelancer must sign a full IP Transfer Agreement assigning all rights to the buyer upon completion.
