Create Galaxy Pirates Action Figures

Job ID: 40515923

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I’m ready to bring my upcoming series, “Galaxy Pirates of the Confederation!”, off the page and onto toy shelves. What I need now is an experienced figure maker who can translate my character concepts into fully finished 5–6-inch plastic action figures with standard joint movement.

Scope
• Sculpt from supplied concept art, refining likeness, proportions, and costume details so the figures feel screen-accurate before they ever hit print.
• Engineer moderate articulation—elbows, knees, shoulders, hips, and a ball-jointed neck—while keeping clean silhouettes and durable joints.
• Produce a clean digital model (STL/OBJ) suitable for both resin prototyping and eventual factory tooling.
• Deliver at least one hand-painted prototype that matches the digital sculpt, demonstrating final color layout and accessory fit.
• Provide a short production brief outlining recommended mold breakdown, material specs (injection-molded ABS/ PVC), and paint masks so I can approach manufacturers with confidence.

Acceptance criteria
A figure that stands freely at 5–6 inches, moves smoothly at every joint without stress whitening, matches my reference art within 1 mm tolerance, and showcases factory-ready surface finish.

If you’ve taken original IP from sketch to shelf before—especially in plastic—let’s talk timelines, previous lines you’ve handled, and any preferred software (ZBrush, Blender, SolidWorks, etc.). I’m aiming for quality that will excite collectors and secure retailer interest the moment the book launches.
