Convert 2D CAD to STL
Budget: ₹600 – ₹3,500 INR
I have an existing 2-D CAD drawing that now needs to become a fully-defined 3-D model suitable for 3D printing. You will take the supplied 2-D file, recreate all geometry in 3-D, and deliver a single error-free STL that slices cleanly and respects every dimension on the drawing.
The model must
• reproduce all features exactly as shown,
• maintain wall thicknesses and tolerances that make it printable on an FDM or SLA machine, and
• arrive with its origin and orientation already set for straightforward slicing in Cura or PrusaSlicer.
I am happy to provide the original CAD file, call-outs, and any clarifying sketches as soon as we start. Please let me know what CAD package you plan to use—SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar—and how quickly you can turn the STL around. If you have handled similar 2-D-to-3-D conversions for printing before, mention that so I know what to expect.
Once the STL passes my printability check in Netfabb or Meshmixer, the project is complete.
