Chibi Couple 3D Model

I have an AI-generated chibi illustration of my girlfriend and me that we both adore, and I’d like to turn that flat image into a printable, game-piece–style figure. The characters should stay in their original standing pose and capture the essential proportions and expressions, but I only need moderate surface detail—something that looks like a quality toy rather than an intricate collector’s statue.

I picture the end result in a plastic finish similar to off-the-shelf figures, yet I’m flexible if another material or coating will print and paint better. Please keep joints, overhangs and wall thickness in mind so the model can be produced on a consumer-level resin or FDM printer without excessive supports.

Deliverables
• Watertight 3D file (STL or OBJ) ready for printing
• Optional split parts if it helps with multicolour or easier painting
• Simple round base that matches the style of the illustration

If you usually model in Blender, ZBrush, or similar, just mention which file formats you can export; I can adapt on my end. The key acceptance criteria will be faithful likeness to the original image, clean geometry that slices without errors, and dimensions that keep the figure under 15 cm tall.

I’ll share the reference artwork as soon as we start so you can block out the forms and iterate on any tweaks before finalising the mesh.
