Character Plush Toy Prototype
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Three original character designs are ready and now need to be transformed into tangible, huggable toy prototypes made from soft plush fabric. The goal is to evaluate look, feel, durability, and child-safe construction before moving on to a full production run.
What I will supply:
• front, side, and back turnarounds for each character in PDF/PNG
• preferred size range (25–30 cm) and key colour references
• feedback within 24 hours of receiving progress photos or short video clips
What you will deliver:
• sewn, fully stuffed prototypes in plush fabric that match the artwork as closely as possible
• neatly finished seams, securely attached details, and embroidered or heat-transfer facial features—no loose parts
• high-resolution photos from multiple angles for approval prior to shipping
• shipping of the final physical samples to my address
Experience with pattern drafting, soft-toy safety requirements (EN 71 or CPSIA), and small-batch manufacturing methods is highly valued and should be evident in your past work. Please include at least two comparable examples so I can gauge craftsmanship.
Once I sign off on the prototypes we can also discuss larger-volume production, but for now the focus is squarely on creating these initial samples that capture the exact spirit of the characters and are ready to withstand play as children’s toys.
