Job Description:
I am developing an Automatic Book Stand and have existing design data (Main STL and individual component parts like gears/fasteners in a .rar file). I need an experienced Mechanical Designer to assemble these parts into a single functional 3D file and review the engineering integrity.
Key Tasks:
Assembly: Correctly align all parts (motors, supports, and clips) from the provided STL files into one master assembly.
Engineering Review: Check for mechanical interferences. Ensure that moving parts have the correct clearances to function automatically.
Refinement: If necessary, suggest minor adjustments to the "parts" design to ensure the automatic mechanism is robust and manufacturable.
Final Export: Provide a single unified 3D file (preferably STEP or high-quality STL) ready for prototyping/3D printing.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino).
Understanding of "Fit and Tolerance" for moving mechanical parts.
Ability to work with existing STL meshes.
