3D Burn Injury Models Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a life-size 3D representation of my client’s badly burned hands and forearms for use in both settlement conferences and courtroom presentation here in Jackson, Mississippi. Moderate anatomical detail is sufficient—I do not need an ultra-high-resolution medical model, but the texture and surface scarring must read clearly from a few feet away.
Here is what I am looking for:
• Capture & modeling: You can work from high-resolution photographs, structured-light scans, or an in-person scan session with the client—whichever keeps cost down while still giving me the needed realism.
• Print material: I prefer the least-expensive option that will keep its shape and appearance for at least 12 months. If a basic resin or PLA plastic meets that durability window, perfect; I am open to your recommendation.
• Output: one physical print (forearm to fingertips, true scale) and the corresponding STL/OBJ file so I can order reprints later if necessary.
• Finish: A single, uniform color is fine; I do not require full-color or painted detail unless you believe it can be done economically.
• Turnaround: Please include estimated lead time alongside your quote.
Local availability is important because I may need to coordinate a quick rescan or pickup before trial. When you respond, let me know:
1. Your proposed workflow and any scanning requirements.
2. A rough price range broken out by modeling and printing.
3. Typical turnaround time for a project of this scope.
If you have sample photos of comparable courtroom exhibits you have produced, feel free to attach them.
