Blender Model Repair & Get 3d Print ready
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a building that was first created in 3ds Max and then brought into Blender, but the import left me with a handful of problems I need solved before I can send it to the printer.
The model shows several open gaps, some missing roof tiles and brick/cobble textures, and a small annex that simply needs to be cut away. I can give you reference STL files for most components, yet I’m equally happy to explore a clean Boolean / intersect workflow if that will be quicker—let’s talk through what makes most sense.
Once the geometry is fixed, the file has to be made completely watertight, walls checked for print-safe thickness, and scaled if necessary. Finally, I’ll need the structure chopped into sensible sections that fit on a consumer-sized printer bed; keyed joints or registration pins would be ideal so the parts align perfectly after printing.
Deliverables
• A cleaned Blender file with every gap closed and the unwanted section removed
• Restored textures: roof tiles, flat-brick pattern, and cobble pattern correctly UV-mapped
• Manifold, wall-thickness-checked geometry ready for Resin/SLA printing
• STL (or OBJ) parts logically split, labelled, and test-loaded in a slicer without errors
I’ll supply the current .blend, the reference STLs, and the original texture assets. If you’re comfortable diagnosing import issues, performing precision mesh repair, and preparing architectural models for 3D printing, I’d love to work together—please outline your approach and any similar projects you’ve completed.
