Bambu Lab Consumer Product Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a refined 3D model that can move directly from CAD to my Bambu Lab printer and come out as a finished, sale-ready consumer product. The design must take advantage of the printer’s multi-color AMS, automatic support generation, and 0.05 mm layer capability so the surface comes off the bed needing no post-processing beyond minor cleanup.
The end use is a final product, not a prototype, so the file has to hold tight tolerances, account for shrinkage in PLA and PETG, and include any press-fit or snap-fit joints already validated in the model. Internal channels or moving parts are welcome if they can be printed in place; otherwise, plan for simple assembly without glue.
To keep the workflow smooth I’d like the native 3MF from Bambu Studio with your recommended slicer settings embedded, plus a clean STL for future edits.
Deliverables
• Production-ready 3MF file optimised for Bambu Lab
• Clean STL of the same model
• Brief notes on material choice and slicer parameters
Acceptance is complete once the file slices in Bambu Studio without errors, predicts under 2% support waste, and prints successfully on my P1P test unit.
