Advanced FGF 3D Printing for Automotive Parts

Job ID: 40489446

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

We are looking for a highly experienced additive manufacturing specialist to help us produce custom suspension car parts using large-format FGF (Fused Granulate Fabrication) pellet 3D printers.

Key Requirements:
- Expert in pellet polymer 3D printing (especially TPU material)
- Proficient in setting up and configuring industrial/large-format 3D printers
- Strong experience with Klipper firmware and Orca Slicer
- Skilled in part design using professional CAD/design software
- Ability to run structural simulations for strength, durability, and performance testing of printed parts
- Knowledge of optimal print settings, material behavior, and post-processing for automotive applications

Scope of Work:
- Design and optimize car parts for 3D printing
- Simulate parts for mechanical strength and real-world durability
- Set up and fine-tune FGF pellet printers running Klipper + Orca Slicer
- Recommend best practices for TPU pellet printing on industrial machines
- Produce print-ready files and documentation

Ideal Candidate:
You should have proven hands-on experience with pellet extrusion 3D printing systems and a deep understanding of polymer materials used in additive manufacturing. Experience in the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector is a big plus.

Budget: To be discussed based on experience
