3D Printable Consumer Prototype Design
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have multiple consumer-product concepts that I need turned into a print-ready prototype. Your job is to create a 3D model specifically optimized for desktop 3D printing, so the file has to slice cleanly, respect common wall-thickness limits, and include any necessary tolerances for snap-fit or press-fit parts.
I will share sketches, dimensions, and the functional requirements once we start. After an initial draft, I’d like one or two refinement rounds to be sure the model both looks right and can be printed without supports in most orientations.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file (STEP or equivalent)
• Final STL ready for FDM/SLA slicing
• Brief note on print orientation and material suggestions
If you have experience prototyping consumer goods and can spot potential print issues early, I’d love to work with you.
