Prepare SketchUp Model for Bambu
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I already have the complete SketchUp file and need it turned into a trouble-free, print-ready model for Bambu Studio. The piece is strictly for display, will sit somewhere between 10 cm and 20 cm tall, and does not need fine surface detail—speed and ease of printing matter more to me than ultra-sharp features.
Here is what I expect:
• Clean up any hidden faces or loose geometry, fix normals, and make the mesh watertight.
• Shell the body so it is properly hollow with consistent wall thickness, adding a discreet drain hole if required.
• Orient the part for the shortest safe print time and minimal supports; keep the overall look clear and smooth.
• Run it through Bambu Studio yourself so you can confirm there are no warnings, odd seams, or overhang issues.
Deliverables: the repaired STL (or 3MF) plus the sliced Bambu Studio project file ready to drop onto the printer.
If you have experience optimising files specifically for the X1C or P1 series and can turn this around quickly, I’d love to work with you.
