Basic 3D Product Model for Printing
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have a specific product design that I want to turn into a 3D-printable file. Because it will be printed on a consumer FDM printer, I only need a low-detail model—clean geometry without ornate surface features. Dimensional accuracy matters more than visual polish.
Here’s what I’m expecting from you:
• A watertight, manifold model delivered in STL (OBJ is fine as an extra).
• Clean, non-self-intersecting mesh with sensible poly count suitable for rapid slicing.
• All parts oriented so the model sits flat on the build plate, with overhangs kept to a minimum (supports should not be mandatory).
• Final dimensions that match the reference sketches I’ll provide; tolerance ±0.2 mm is acceptable.
Feel free to use Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or any other CAD/mesh software you’re comfortable with—as long as the exported STL passes basic repair checks in Cura or PrusaSlicer.
Once the file opens error-free in my slicer and prints without geometry issues, the job is complete.
