VR ready 3D Koomey Accumulator

I need to build a model of a Koomey accumulator (find a picture attached). I don't have blueprints, but I don't need precise dimensions. I can help the modeller understand the construction of the machine and its main parts to build the final model as a composition of various simpler components.
The poly count must not exceed 50.000 (it will be used as part of a VR experience), and I expect the texture to look realistic, so the use of normal, height and ao maps is most welcome.
